There was a Sadhu who went to a river for bath.
While bathing he saw a scorpion drowning in the rive water.
The Sadhu tried to hold the scorpion in his hand and bring it out. As soon as he picked up the scorpion, it stung him and fell into the water again.
This went on for several times.
A man who was watching this came upto the Sadhu and said, "Sadhuji, everytime you pick up the scorpion it stings you. Why don't you let it down?"
The Sadhu replied, "It is the scorpion's nature to sting. If it cannot leave its nature how can I? In fact, he has taught me to be more determined to do my swadharma."
Don't give up loving. Don't give up your goodness. Even if people around you sting.
