Whenever, I hear news of people dying of starvation - I feel terrible. Is it not possible to guarantee food for everybody..? Since, this we are not able to guarantee - we must do what we can. Keep the population in check.
All living creatures cannot control their need for sex. Simply advertising the use of contraceptives doesn't make the people to use it. On the other hand, religious scholars will come in to the picture and will spoil the whole effort of population control. What we are in real need is a world government which is practical. Compulsorily sterilization of males and females should be done in the whole world for the families having more than two children.
One child per family is enough. But, since the single child will miss companionship. I say two is more than enough. After that the government should identify the couple and sterilize both of them. I say both, because the possessor of egg can find other donors of sperms.
Please be compassionate - there is not enough food on earth to feed everyone.
