తావసించు-చోట తగన' ల్జడ' యెనా ?
సౌఖ్యము గల భూమి జరుగ వలయు;
కొలకులిం' కెనే' ని కొంగలం' దుం' డునా ?
విశ్వధాభిరామ, వినుర వేమ 

If the place where you are is troubled,
you should pass to a more comfortable land.
If the pond is dry, will the cranes remain in it? (An allusion to a fable in the Hitopadesa).
