కొండెగాడుఁ జావ కొంప ధనుక భోవు,
వంతుకింతే కాని, వగపు లేదు
కొంకనక్కఁ జావ గొర్రెలే' మిటికే' డ్చు ?
విశ్వధాభిరామ, వినుర వేమ

When a backbiter dies,  you should go to the funeral at his house;

but merely for decency's sake: it is impossible to grieve in reality:

can the sheep lament the death of a wolf?
